Help
How the laundry system works, step by step.
An order from start to finish
- Take in the laundry – New job order: find the customer (or tap Walk-in), tap the services, enter the weight or pieces, and press Save & print slip. The customer keeps the claim slip; put a printed bag tag on every bag.
- Wash – on Machines press Start on a washer and choose the order. The order moves to Washing and a timer counts down.
- Dry – start a dryer for the order: it moves to Drying.
- Fold / iron – on the Laundry board tap Next to move it to Folding, then to Ready when packed.
- Release – when the customer comes back, open the order, receive the balance and press Release. The order is Released (claimed).
Payments
- The customer can pay when dropping off (in the order form), part now and the rest later, or everything on pick-up.
- Cash: type the cash received to see the change. GCash, Maya, card and bank: type the reference number.
- Wrong amount? The cashier voids the payment on the order page with a reason.
- The Payments page totals the day per method and per cashier, for the cash count.
Customers can track their laundry
The claim slip shows a 6-letter tracking code. On the tracking page the customer types the order number and the code and sees where the laundry is. You can also send the link with Text customer on the order page.
Roles
- System Administrator: Everything, including backups and system updates.
- Owner / Manager: Runs the shop: services and prices, users, settings, expenses, supplies and every report.
- Cashier / Front Counter: Takes in laundry, creates job orders, receives payments, releases finished orders, manages customers.
- Laundry Attendant: Works the machines: moves orders through washing, drying and folding, uses the machines and supplies.
The screens
- Dashboard – today's money, orders in each stage, what is due and overdue, ready for pick-up, machines and low stock.
- Laundry board – one column per stage; ideal on a tablet near the machines. It refreshes by itself.
- Job orders – search by order number, name or mobile; filter by stage, payment and date.
- Machines – washers, dryers and ironing stations with live timers.
- Supplies & stock – detergent, softener, bags. Low stock appears on the dashboard.
- Reports – sales, collections, expenses and net cash; per day, service, method, customer and staff. Print to PDF or export to Excel.
Updates and backups
The System Administrator makes backups in Backups and sends changes from the local site to the online site (or the other way round) in System Updates. A full backup is always made first, and an update can be rolled back.
